FAVOURITE FOOD


AKOK





Picture shown above is a picture of the famous traditional kuih, Akok. Akok originates from the East Coast, especially Kelantan and Terengganu. Akok is very hard to find these days. It can be found during festive seasons, for example during Ramadhan.  Whenever Ramadhan comes every year, the first thing I look forward to is to find kuih Akok at the bazaar. The process of making this kuih Akok is very interesting and rare as it is burned on hot fire, then covered with coconut shells to get the genuine taste. Akok is fluffy and it tastes sweet. The ingredients to make this kuih is very simple which we only need eggs, coconut starch, brown sugar, wheat flour, pandan leaves and fine sugar. 


The reason why Akok is my favourite food is because it reminds me of my kampung back in Kelantan because my family who lives there always serve kuih Akok at home everyday and I will never ever ever get bored eating it.

NASI 7 BENUA



     Among the numerous kind of food. My favourite dishes is nasi 7 benua. Nasi 7 benua is originated from Pulau Pinang. Nasi 7 benua is famous food in Asian.

     Nasi 7 benua is a great food to try if you have chance travel in Pulau Pinang. The price is quite cheaply. The ingredients consisting of ''Nasi 7 benua'' are 7 rice dishes in one dish. Nasi 7 benua is served with various types of dishes. All kind of people love it regardless of the people enjoying the nasi 7 benua as the price is reasonable and is very good to eat.

NASI LEMAK





     It is about my favourite food, nasi lemak. Nasi lemak is a fragrant rice dish cooked is coconut and pandan leaf commonly found in Malaysia, where it is considered the national dish. Nasi lemak's variety of manners, it is now served and eaten any time of the day. This tradisional favourite food offers sambal, anchovies, peanut, cucumber and boiled egg but nasi lemak stalls can be found serving them with fried egg, fried chicken, sambal squids and fish. it can be consumed for breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner and even supper. 



     The reason why nasi lemak is my favourite food is because it was hand made home prepared by my mother. The sambal squid spicy that raised my appetite because very tasty. Moreover, the sambal is very easy to do in accordance with my mother's recipe. It tastes even better eaten with fried chicken. In my home area there is a stall selling nasi lemak which is very tasty because of its soft texture. I will buy at the stall when i'm so lazy to make and my mom not at home meanwhile the price is affordable.
